Alaa has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Science Education with a minor in psychology and a Master of Arts in Education. She has 14 years of teaching and leadership experience in International private schools in the Middle East and the United States. She was Assistant Head of Elementary School in Makassed Khaled Bin Walid School in Beirut, Lebanon; Grade 3 teacher at the Lebanese School of Qatar, Doha; Grades 4 and 5 Math and Science Teacher at Lebanese School of Qatar in Doha, Qatar; Grades 4 and 6 Math Teacher at Dahran Ahliah School in Saudii Arabia, Khobar; Grades 5 and 6 Math and Science Teacher in the Lebanese School of Qatar in Doha; PYP Math and Science Coordinator at the Wellspring Learning Community, K-12 IB Continum School, Beirut, Lebanon.

 

After moving to the USA in 2019, Alaa spent the first year substituting in various schools. CTL was fortunate to have her throughout the year of 2019-2020 when she served as a full-time and part-time sub. During her time with CTL, she displayed great talent, dedication, work ethic, and professionalism. For the last two years she has been teaching at a private International School in the Woodlands. We are thrilled to have her join our CTL Team next school year.
