Andrea Seider, M.Ed.

Andrea Seider has a bachelor’s degree in Art and Art History from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas State University. Andrea has a wide range of teaching experience including Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, Dance, Gymnastics, Structured English Immersion, ESL and Montessori. She has been studying theatre with a coach from Julliard and is excited to bring this knowledge and experience to the drama program at CTL. Additionally, she continues to teach play-based, nature themed classes to preschool aged children through and organization called Tinkergarten. Andrea grew up in Austin, Texas and was very active in sports, art, gymnastics and dance. She ran Varsity Cross Country, played Varsity Soccer, and was First Lieutenant of her High School Dance/Drill Team, a role for which she later received a scholarship. She received a degree in Studio Art and Art History from TCU and from there she continued her love of the arts through various mediums such as photography, drawing, painting, and dance and in work experiences at The Modern in Fort Worth, Laguna Gloria Art School in Austin and The Blanton Art Museum in Austin. When she is not teaching, Andrea enjoys playing with her two young boys, Otis and Sturgill, reading a good book, hiking in nature, or taking photographs.
