Eddie Sansom
Assistant Head of School

Email:

Eddie brings a diverse background and a deep passion for education to our wonderful CTL community. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2010 with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Education, after completing his high school education at Tomball High School in 2004.

Eddie’s journey in education began with two years teaching special education for Tomball ISD. He then stepped into a different industry, owning and operating a business that built cell phone towers for Verizon Wireless for seven years. During that time, he gained extensive experience in all aspects of business operations, including pre-construction, working closely with RF Engineers, managing environmental checks, securing building permits, and overseeing A&E drawings.

In 2018, Eddie returned to his true calling in education by working part-time at a private school in The Woodlands. This pivotal step inspired him to close his business and dedicate himself fully to teaching. Over the past eight years, he has taught an impressive range of subjects, from 1st–12th grade Physical Education and Athletics (Soccer, Tennis, Flag Football, Volleyball) to Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Astronomy, Makerspace, 5th–8th grade Math, Photojournalism, and Yearbook. He has also taken on numerous leadership and support roles, including Facilities Manager, Admin Assistant, Health Teacher, Student Council Advisor, High School Trip Planning Coordinator, IT Specialist, and after-school club leader for gaming and biking.

Now serving as CTL’s Assistant Head of School, Eddie is committed to fostering a thriving school community where relationships are built and people truly get to know one another. He is dedicated to supporting both staff and students and ensuring that CTL continues to be a place where learning is joyful, meaningful, and inspiring.

Eddie has been married for 14 years and is a proud father of three children, two sons now 11 and 9, and a 4-year-old daughter. Outside of school, he enjoys watching sports, playing golf, woodworking, and traveling with his family. Cruises and road trips are among their favorite ways to make lifelong memories together.

The thing Eddie is most excited about in this next chapter at CTL is working alongside our staff, families, and students to build a strong and vibrant community while helping every student grow to their fullest potential.
