Eddie brings a diverse background and passion for education to our wonderful CTL community. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2010 with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Education. Prior to that, he completed his high school education at Tomball High School in 2004.
Eddie's journey in education began with teaching special education for Tomball ISD for two years. He then transitioned to a different industry, where he owned and operated a business building cell phone towers for Verizon Wireless for seven years. During this period, he gained extensive experience in various aspects of business, including pre-construction responsibilities, working closely with RF Engineers, handling environmental checks, building permits, A&E drawing, and much more.

Despite his success in the business world, his passion for education never left. In 2018, he had the opportunity to return to the field of education, working part-time at a private school in The Woodlands. This pivotal moment led him to close his business and fully dedicate himself to teaching. Over the past six years, he has had the privilege of teaching a wide range of subjects, including 1st-12th Physical Education, Athletics (Soccer, Tennis, Flag Football, and Volleyball), Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Astronomy, Makerspace, 6th grade Math, Photojournalism, Yearbook, and more. Additionally, Eddie has held roles such as Facilities Manager, Admin Assistant, Health Teacher, Student Council Advisor, High School Trip Planning Coordinator, IT Specialist, and overseer of after-school clubs like gaming and biking clubs.

Eddie's passion is to serve others, and he truly cherishes the opportunity to positively impact the youth and our future. He has been married for 13 years and is a proud father of three wonderful children—two sons aged 10 and 8, and a 3-year-old daughter. Outside of his professional life, Eddie enjoys watching sports, playing golf, woodworking, and traveling with his family. They like to go on cruises and road trips, creating lasting memories together.

The thing Eddie is most excited about in his opportunity at CTL is helping to build a strong and vibrant community. He looks forward to growing with CTL and contributing to the success of our students in the upcoming school year.
