Kelly has a Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Lamar University. She is certified EC-4 Generalist and English as a Second Language EC-12 in Texas. In addition she is certified as a school counselor for EC-12. Kelly started teaching in Katy ISD as a 4th grade reading teacher before moving to Louisiana for a couple of years and teaching 4th grade at a private school. Upon returning to Texas, she became an elementary school counselor in Magnolia ISD where she stayed until having her first son. Kelly has always had a passion for teaching and for helping children reach their full potential socially and academically. She played sports growing up, mainly soccer and volleyball, and enjoys working out and staying healthy. Kelly is excited to join CTL and build relationships with the students so they find enjoyment in physical education. In her free time, she likes to read and spend time with her family.
