With a master’s in music from Rice University, Khoren has performed extensively throughout the United States as a conductor and performer of both solo and collaborative work. He studied piano performance and pedagogy at Houston Baptist University and Brigham Young University as an undergraduate. Well recognized for his work as a teacher-trainer and master class presenter, Khoren founded the Ethos School of Music--a Steinway select school. His students have successfully enrolled in conservatory and college music programs throughout the United States. For the past three years, Steinway & Sons has named him their Top Piano Teacher. His philosophy and methodology in teaching has garnered international recognition and acclaim via such avenues as the World Piano Pedagogy Conference and The American Music Teacher. Khoren’s compositions and arrangements have been published and presented by Celebration USA™, Faiths United of the Woodlands, and various churches. His knowledge of foreign languages makes him highly sought after as a vocal coach. Khoren inspires audiences and students of all ages with his energetic style as well as a passionate love for music and teaching.
