Kaeleana holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology with a minor in Coastal Environmental Science & Society from Texas A&M University–Galveston. She is Gifted and Talented (GT) trained in the state of Texas and currently pursuing her teaching certification through the Teachers of Tomorrow program. Kaeleana has taught math and science to upper elementary students, blending hands-on learning, creativity, and critical thinking in every lesson.

A passionate science communicator and natural problem-solver, Kaeleana draws from her background in marine research, environmental studies, and STEM education to design learning experiences that spark curiosity and deepen understanding. Her classrooms are full of energy, student collaboration, and meaningful exploration—from building models to analyzing real-world data.

Kaeleana’s professional path has included everything from supporting students in university libraries to working in veterinary care and community art programs. These experiences have shaped her into a deeply empathetic educator who values connection, growth, and adaptability. She approaches teaching with the belief that all students thrive when they feel seen, supported, and challenged in the right ways.
