Laura began her career in business management with Continental Airlines where she was employed as Domestic Pricing Analyst and Sales Service Manager for Asia Pacific Sales for seven years. She then joined The Woodlands College Park High School where she was employed for nine years as Administrative Assistant prior to joining the Lone Star College System where she served as Administrative Assistant and Operations Specialist for four years. In her various roles, Laura supported executive level administrators in the coordination of programs and functions across multiple departments, locations, and outside organizations using strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and follow-through in the management of budgets and business practice. She gained experience in the coordination of office operations including managing calendars, budgets, and expense reports and purchasing and overseeing grant and department program application processes. She planned and orchestrated conferences and seminars, marketing, and websites while providing high-level customer service including strong interpersonal and communication skills and confidentiality.

 

Since 2017 Laura has served as Customer Service Agent at Money Matters and Onboarding Specialist at Benefits Science Technologies while operating her own business in The Woodlands. She is excited to join CTL and return to the school environment and to a position that she so familiar with and loves. We are excited to welcome Laura to CTL!
