From a young age, Lisa demonstrated a passion for art, beginning with her first ribbon at the Houston Rodeo Art Show at age 8. This early recognition fueled her dedication to creative expression. She earned a degree in Illustration and Design from the Art Institute of Houston, further developing her skills and deepening her commitment to transforming her ideas into visual works.

With a background in studio art, graphic design, and education, Lisa brings a versatile and innovative approach to her work. Her expertise encompasses various mediums including painting, drawing, and digital art, with each piece reflecting her personal insights and emotions. She views art as a powerful means of communication—an essential tool for fostering understanding, empathy, and inspiration.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Lisa is passionate about animal care. She responsibly cares for her pets, which include two dogs, four cats, a cockatiel, and a bearded dragon. She volunteers regularly with the Texas Animal Society, dedicating time to assist orphaned cats and kittens in finding permanent homes, demonstrating her commitment to compassion and community service.

Looking ahead to her role at CTL, Lisa is enthusiastic about inspiring students to explore their creativity and discover their potential. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive and motivating environment, reflecting her belief in the transformative impact of art, compassion, and perseverance.
