Macey graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University. She has a background in Montessori education and has been working with children in classroom settings for three years.

Macey has worked with children of all ages throughout her life and currently volunteers with CASA, a local nonprofit supporting children and families in the community. Inspired by Montessori principles, she believes children thrive through hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and joy. In her classroom, education is active and rooted in real life. She values independence, exploration, and the development of the whole child, academically, emotionally, socially, and physically. Macey is passionate about helping children grow and discover their potential, aiming to create a warm and engaging space where students feel confident, capable, and excited to learn by building, creating, and discovering.

In addition to classroom teaching, Macey has supported community outreach programs focused on public education and connecting families with local resources to support youth in the community.
Outside of teaching, Macey enjoys crafting, reading, and hiking, and is always eager to try new things and learn. These interests inspire her creative and hands-on approach, helping her foster a classroom where curiosity and joy thrive.
