At the Center for Teaching & Learning we begin each morning with a fifteen-minute, all school morning meeting. This is where we gather as teachers, learners, and members of a community to:

• Greet each other 

• Make announcements

• Share what we're learning with each other

• Celebrate birthdays, school events, and holidays around the world

• Sing a song or recite a poem

• Launch each school day in a positive way

Morning meetings are where we create and foster school-wide traditions and invite students to feel as if they belong to something that’s bigger than they are. Ultimately, our aim is to build and nurture a strong school community, from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade.
