WW1 Dioramas

Our 5-6 grade students have enjoyed researching the conditions of trench warfare during WWI in their Social Studies lessons. As part of their inquiry, they created dioramas of trench conditions and wrote private journals from the perspective of soldiers living in the front lines. It was wonderful to see the students ability to combine factual information with such empathy and sophistication.
