Earth Day

On Thursday in morning meeting, CTL students celebrated Earth Day. Leading up to this day, beginning Monday kindergarten students shared the history of Earth Day. Thursday they demonstrated ways we can protect our earth through recycling. PreK and kindergarten students then shared beautiful art they had created through refurbishing and Della Wallace shared a CTL compost bin she is refurbishing in her passion project time each week. Thank you Mrs. Brown, kindergarten and PreK students and Della for teaching us ways to keep our community and our earth beautiful. We contribute daily at CTL as everyone puts recyclable items into classroom bins emptied each day by students into a larger bin and taken each week by Dr. Ellis to recycle. We love our beautiful earth and are reminded each day how to preserve its beauty!
