CTL's portfolio process and student-led conferences are a highlight of each trimester as students across grade levels self-evaluate their learning, gather artifacts that represent that learning, and set goals for future learning. We call this time portfolio workshop. Through this important process they grow as learners, improve communication and interpersonal skills and gain confidence. Teachers gain a better understanding of each student as a learner, get each student's perspective of his/her learning, and better understand how to help each student move forward. CTL's student-led conferences help families understand what learning at CTL looks like for their student. We love this time of the trimester. It is one of the most valuable things we do at CTL.
